The story of Express Promotions is one of intertwining journeys.
It was formed when Mercury Promotions and Forms Express were brought together under the same roof in a state-of-the art facility in Geelong, Victoria’s largest regional city. Since then it has diversified and grown to become the major supplier of quality and innovative packaging, digital media and consumables to the photographic industry in Australia and New Zealand.

Mercury Promotions
The Reed family purchased Mercury Promotions in 1983.
The company had been established as Mercury Press in 1974. Since being acquired by the Reeds, as an operating division of Express Promotions Australia Pty Ltd, Mercury Promotions has become Australia’s leading supplier of print packaging, digital media and consumables. The company operates successfully, supplying products to more than 600 customers within Australia and New Zealand.

Forms Express
But many decades before, the company now known as Forms Express, started life as Carter and Taverner P/L in 1923. In 1968, Carter and Taverner moved to premises at 176 Burwood Road, Hawthorn.
The company specialized in producing ‘made-to-order’ continuous business forms, and during the 1980’s won many awards for its quality and innovative work.

Express Promotions
In 1993 new facilities were built in Geelong to enable the consolidation of Carter and Taverner to Geelong with Mercury Press to establish Express Promotions Australia Pty. Ltd.
